Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Sovereign Software LLC collects when you visit sovereignsoftware.app or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We build privacy-first software, and we hold this site and our own tools to the same standard. Last updated 29 June 2026.

Who we are

Sovereign Software LLC is an independent software studio and the data controller for this website and for the tools we operate to run our own business. You can reach us about anything in this policy, including a request to access or delete your data, at [email protected].

Information we collect

We keep collection to a minimum. This website has no account sign-up and no contact form that stores your details. If you email us, we receive the contents of your message and your email address so that we can reply. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information such as your IP address and the page you requested, which is standard for delivering and securing any website.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not load third-party tracking or analytics scripts on this site. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not sell data to anyone. Any cookies present are limited to what is strictly necessary to serve the site securely.

Hosting and service providers

The website runs on Cloudflare's platform, which processes requests on our behalf to deliver and protect the site and may retain standard server and security logs. We use a small number of service providers only where needed to run the business, and we choose ones that let us keep control of our data. We do not sell your personal information.

Our LinkedIn integration

Sovereign Software LLC operates an internal tool that connects to LinkedIn's APIs, including the Community Management API, solely to manage our own LinkedIn company page. Through it we publish and schedule our own posts, read analytics for our own page, and read and respond to comments and reactions on our own content. We access only data relating to our own page and its public engagement, acting on behalf of authorized page administrators who grant access through LinkedIn's official OAuth flow. Access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted on infrastructure we control and are never shared with any third party. We do not sell, rent, or redistribute any data obtained from LinkedIn, and we use it only to manage our own page. We comply with LinkedIn's API Terms of Use, and an administrator can revoke our access at any time from within LinkedIn.

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected: correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and keep reasonable records, and access tokens for our own LinkedIn page only while the integration is in use. You can ask us to delete information we hold about you at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to receive a copy of it. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are in the EU or UK and believe we have not handled your data properly, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our site and tools change. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page, and we will highlight any significant change here.
